Artist Statement

My film text me (2025) explores a personal yet universally relatable fear, especially for women. It follows the main character being “stalked” by an unknown man, relying on acting, visuals, and sound design to convey emotion without dialogue. The art direction uses extreme lighting contrasts to create an ominous tension. To enhance the feeling of being watched, I incorporated security camera perspectives, creating a false sense of security. At the end of the film, I want viewers to question whether the figure was truly a threat, as that ambiguity feels more real to me.
