Artist Statement

Shapes of Us (2025) is a manifestation of love and beauty. It explores the idea of finding beauty and wonder in the world and being able to share it with someone else. There is power in telling stories of the mundane and the small things, stories about our relationships with each other and with the world that surrounds us. We were moved to create this film by our desire to explore connectivity through art. The film also explores themes of gratitude and acceptance, that things are not permanent, and that there is beauty in fleetingness. It is a reflection on our relationships and the way we have learned to care and appreciate each other, and the wonder that surrounds us.
