Issue:
The uncontrolled expansion of urban areas, increasing pollution, scarcity of green spaces, and lack of harmony among different beings are contributing to a decline in the quality of life and the longevity of our planet.
Solution:
Building Cities That Sustain Themselves Through Nature
Garden Cities is dedicated to informing, educating, and advocating for greener, more resilient urban spaces. Through DIY practices, it works to reclaim cities as places of ecological restoration and community care.
The initiative seeks to combat climate anxiety by promoting land stewardship and sharing long-standing Indigenous knowledge that has sustained generations. By introducing ideas like permaculture, food forests, and the reintroduction of native species, empowering people to reimagine cities as living, breathing ecosystems.
Garden Cities champions ways of living that align with nature, emphasizing community building, mutual support, and restorative urban design.
It’s all about liberation, mobilization, and reawakening our connection to the Earth.
