Hope
Kiara Watson

Hope is a work inspired by the Japanese art form of Kintsugi, the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. This process not only restores the object but celebrates its fractures as part of its history. I wanted to echo that spirit by creating a fractured landscape, where the cracks aren’t seen as flaws, but pathways of survival. They serve as a reminder that the breaks and scars we carry can shape us, and can even become part of something beautiful.
