Introduction
Rifts of Chronos began as a concept through a steampunk-themed illustration series created during the end of 2022. Since then, its world, characters, and story have been developed as a fantasy webcomic for release on online platforms in July 2025.
Sypnosis
After moving to a new city, ambitious inventor Milo is eager to enter the Inventors Festival Grand Contest. He recruits two strangers for his team, but they quickly realize working together isn’t so easy. After being consumed by a rift into a mysterious realm, they must learn to trust each other to find a way back to their world. On their journey they meet new companions and enemies they can’t outrun, such as with time itself.
Early Development
In order to prepare for the comic, I worked on design and world building through a visual development book.

This project focuses on the prologue and first chapter within a 48-page printed book.
