Design Statement
Designing furniture that functions as its own packaging in order to optimize furniture transportation during moving, while rethinking the aesthetic and material language often associated with traditional flat-pack solutions.
Introduction
Three Over Three is a furniture system that reimagines the relationship between furniture, packaging, and space.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed to be disassembled and neatly stored within the structure of the bookshelf. By allowing the furniture to become part of its own packaging, the system offers a more refined alternative to traditional flat-pack furniture, balancing spatial efficiency with aesthetic coherence.
Three Over Three responds to the real-life challenges of urban living and moving, offering an adaptable, elegant solution designed for change.

How to disassemble

Users only need to pull out the four joints on the sides to easily take the stool apart.
It can also be easily assembled and disassembled for coffee table by simply pulling out the connected joints.

The user can take out the middle and bottom panels of the bookshelf, place all parts of the other two pieces inside, then reattach the middle panel and secure it with the leather cord.
This turns all three pieces into one, saving space during moving. The bookshelf remains usable in this mode, and when laid flat, two people can easily carry everything together.
