About My Comic: Tidal Waves

Tidal Waves is a 21-page comic that follows the journey of a girl who, after the passing of her grandmother, travels to the beach and encounters a relentlessly cheerful merman. As their story unfolds, she begins to understand a profound lesson: connections with others are like the tidal waves—unpredictable and ever-changing. Just as the waves cannot be stopped from returning to the ocean, we must learn to cherish the people in our lives before they slip away.

Hi everyone! I’m Blanc (or Brownie).

I originally planned to major in Illustration, but life had other ideas—and here I am, graduating with a Visual Art degree!

I love digital painting, especially creating moody scenes and telling stories about women. Outside of school, you’ll usually find me playing League of Legends, making cosplay props, or modeling for my photographer friends.

It’s sad to say goodbye to everyone, but I’m also super excited to finally graduate. I’ve learned so much here, and I can’t wait to dive into new art forms without the pressure of grades!
