Welcome to my series of reimagined fairy tales! I chose to rethink three classic stories — Little Red Hood, Thumbelina, and Snow White — and give the characters new power and meaning.

In these works, Little Red Hood becomes the hunter, Thumbelina rises as her own ruler, and Snow White takes control of the magic mirror’s power.

The Little Red Hood – The Hunter

In this piece, I reimagine Little Red Hood not as a helpless girl, but as the hunter herself. She no longer fears the dangers of the forest — she becomes the danger. I combined her character with the hunter from the original story, giving her strength, power, and control. The wolf, once her enemy, is now her loyal friend and shadow, always by her side. Together, they move through the forest as a powerful force, rewriting the old story where Red Hood was only a victim.

Thumbelina – Born to Rule

In this piece, I retell Thumbelina’s story by giving her her own strength. Instead of waiting for others to save her, Thumbelina becomes the hero of her own life. I combined her with the elf prince she marries at the end of the traditional story, making her a ruler from the very start. She is born from a poppy flower, her glittering wings opening wide. Her swallow friend brings her a scepter, and the mouse becomes her loyal guard. Thumbelina stands strong and proud, ready to lead her own world.

Snow White – Dark Mirror

In this piece, I show a darker side of Snow White. I combined her character with the Queen and the Witch, giving her control over the story instead of being controlled by it. The magic mirror is not just an object — it stands by her side and gives her power. Snow White rises from the mirror, no longer the sweet, gentle girl she once was. Now, she takes the rules into her own hands and decides the fate of everyone – her animals friends, the Seven Dwarfs, and more.
